Alan Carter RacingWatches Of Distinction Racing are pleased to announce we will be principal sponsor of Alan Carter and Chris Knight competing on 1980's Yamaha T350's in the ACU/CRMC 350 Post Classic Grand Prix British Championship and selected televised rounds of the International Classic Grand Prix Series with rounds at Assen, Jarama, Brands Hatch to name but a few.

Alan 46 is making a come back from an ilustrious career in the 80's and early 90's. 1983 saw Alan as the youngest ever Grand Prix Winner at only 18 years of age and the first British rider since the legendary Barry Sheene to win a Grand Prix. Alan tipped as a likely World Champion never realised his potential due to family tragedies - which you can read in his recently published autobiography.

Chris Knight 44 competed at the highest level in the UK and USA competing in Prodution, Supersport and Superbikes. 1989 saw Chris as a member of the winning Eurolantic Team racing at Donnington Park on a Honda RC 30 Superbike.

Pre-Championship testing at Mallory Park has already seen race winning lap times achieved!

Latest update: Alan had a fantastic weekend July 2nd/3rd at the International Classic Grand Prix at Snetterton finishing 2nd in race 1. Whilst fighting for the lead in race 2 he suffered a mechanical failure on the last lap and had to retire.

Chris despite a few gremlins maintained a very respectable 8th place in race 2, managing to overcome frustrating mechanical difficulties on the Saturday.
